MHM1-Book Functionality
In this book-based activity, I compiled a comprehensive set of information required for the training while allowing learners to select the content most relevant to their existing knowledge. Learners begin by clicking on each book to access general information, with the option to explore further through tabs that organize more detailed subtopics. They can revisit the material as often as needed and navigate the activity at their own pace, choosing when to exit. I also included a mock-up to provide a view of the project in its early stage.

MHM2- Anxiety Functionality
The Anxiety Case scenario was developed in Storyline. While an initial brief outline was provided, the goal was to create a richer, more immersive experience in which learners could practice decision-making during a realistic interaction. To achieve this, I expanded the content and developed additional questions, which were subsequently reviewed by the clinical team.
The scenario presents an interaction between a help seeker and a crisis counselor. Learners are prompted to select what they believe is the most appropriate response from the counselor at each stage. If an unsuitable response is chosen, immediate feedback is provided to explain why the option is not recommended and to guide better decision-making.

MHM1- Influencing Factors Functionality
The Factors Influencing Mental Health activity was developed using RISE 360 hotspots. I began by conceptualizing an apartment setting for a single character, incorporating objects throughout the space to represent key factors such as faith, relationships, and others. These elements are positioned around the room, allowing learners to explore each factor interactively. Following the activity, knowledge checks prompt learners to reflect on what they have explored.

Follow-Up Folders Functionality
In the Follow-Up Folders activity, learners click on each folder to review the type of information they should have available during a follow-up call. This activity is designed to be completed prior to other case scenarios, where learners will apply this information in the situations presented.

Follow-Up Cases Functionality
In this Storyline scenario, learners reflect on different callers who are in the final stages of a follow-up call, where the crisis counselor is exploring barriers to accessing prior recommendations. Learners can choose the order in which they engage with each case and determine the most appropriate response the counselor should provide based on each caller’s situation.
If a less appropriate response is selected, guidance is provided to explain why it is not recommended. This helps learners understand the reasoning behind effective responses and supports them in applying these skills during real calls.

Content Analysis and Training Flow
When I first receive content, I analyze it to understand its flow, key elements, and how well it aligns with the learning objectives. I identify which components are essential for learner performance and which may be better suited for alternative learning tools rather than a course format.
This evaluation continues throughout the course development process. As instructional design progresses, gaps and inconsistencies in the content often become more apparent, helping to determine whether certain elements require further refinement, revision, or removal altogether to avoid confusion or contradictions.
